Happy Sky Arcade Lag Issues?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was able to get the PC version of the Happy Sky Arcade ISO that came out a while back.

I'm noticing that every song mid way through begins to offsync the keymarks in the chart with the track that runs in the back during the whole song, there by either causing my timing to be off chartwise, or playing it straight from the chart and having the song sound like junk.

Does anyone know if this is just a performance issue, or whether its something that's fixable?

Also can I set specific key controls on it? D:

~Thanks in advance :)

Set your refresh rate to exactly 59.97 Hz, I believe that's the most common source of the problem.
I'm not at home while I'm commenting on this, but is that done within the game itself, or through my display settings...? (ie control panel)
That would be through your display settings. Some video cards' drivers let you force the refresh rate, but if not you can use a third-party tool like PowerStrip.

I haven't had any sync problems myself (without setting any of that kind of stuff), but that seems to be one of the most common solutions for people who are dealing with that.

Another common problem is not having the proper codec installed, but I'm going to guess that you probably don't have that problem because I think that always results in a crash or the videos not displaying rather than getting out of sync.
Well actually, now that I think about it, the videos themselves don't play, either. :x

I actually got a corrupted "ntkskrnl.exe" error when I got home from school, so I can't exactly test any of this stuff out. :(

I'll update my drivers, and set the refresh rate when its up and running. Do you recommend a particular codec?

Thanks. :)

Awesome work, watson.
